MsDVR 2000 is an easy-to-use software, and provides or leverages functionalities to benefit users from recording TV shows and movies using personal computers. Scheduling events is very simple and intuitive from the User Interface or from external Electronic Program Guide (EPG) applications. It includes an EPG enabler app for Yahoo! TV (supports many regions) that is very easy to setup. It leverages the widely used Windows Media Encoder 7.1 (Freeware) that allows you to watch your favorite TV shows and movies with your laptop/notebook computer or PocketPC from anywhere, anytime.
MsDVR 2000 1.1.214h was released by Maksil Software on Monday 13 September 2004. Its known requirements are : TV Tuner (hardware - PCI or USB) with WDM driver, Windows Media Encoder 7.1.
MsDVR 2000 will run on Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
